Dormant project.
Skypatron is a public transport system using driverless shuttle modules. It has very significant advantages in cost and flexibility when dealing with existing infrastructure and awkward geography.
By way of example, there is a transport scheme prepared for the city of Gothenburg 2010
Unfortunately nobody answered (thirteen) mails and letters to Göteborg City requesting presentation of the project including signature of a NDA, so it remains in a drawer gathering dust.
It could be applied to any city considering new transport infrastructure. By reviewing the detailed application plan to Göteborg, any city could then see how it would adapt to theirs.
Given this transport system does not exist, an added advantage to applying it is the factory to construct the equipment etc would be located in the host city.
